“American Heritage Camp” August

The American Heritage Camp gives your child a hands-on experience of life on a farm long ago. Campers will discover the fun day-to-day activities that children enjoyed during the summer such as feeding the animals, scavenger hunts, relay games, crafts, fresh lemonade, farm music, stories and art. Camp for ages 7-11 and runs from 10:00 til 1:30 pm. Fee is $125/ 1 child, $200/ 2 children, $300/ 3 children. Please contact our office for more details at 631-692-4664.

“Long Island Apple Festival” September (11-4 pm)

SPLIA, the Three Village Historical Society, and Homestead Arts present the 17th annual Apple Festival. An autumn celebration of our local historic traditions with the following activities: apple pie contest, fresh apple cider, wagon rides, homemade goodies, apple relay races, pony rides, open hearth cooking, and traditional music and craftsmen.

“Pumpkin Hunt” October (10:30-noon)

Enjoy a crisp, autumn day outdoors hunting for miniature pumpkins. Decorate your own pumpkin, play outdoor games, enjoy fresh cider & homemade cookies, and create a fuzzy pumpkin craft! For children ages 5-10, fee $8/ child. Registration required at 631-692-4664.

Joseph Lloyd Manor (Lloyd Lane, Huntington 11743)

“Nanny Rose School of Etiquette”

Meet Miss Nanny Rose and Olivia for an amusing & educational event where children learn proper dining etiquette and manners. Fee $30/child, ages 8-12.

December “American Girl Tea Party”

Join us for a proper tea at the Joseph Lloyd Manor House. Girls will create their own place cards, write a simple letter using a quill pen and a wax seal, create a winter ornament, and enjoy tea & cakes! Fee $25/child, ages 7-11.
