PROGRAMS FOR SCHOOL GROUPS

SPLIA’s programs are creative workshops that involve students in an active exploration of New York history. Using hands-on methods, including role-playing, house hunts, handling objects, and craft workshops, students are invited to step back into Long Island’s past.

We offer innovative programming on Colonial New York history, African-American slavery, and Geography. Be prepared for an active learning experience when you bring your class on a field trip!
