In celebration of the Henry Hudson Quadricentennial in 2009, this traveling exhibit put together by the New Netherland Institute, introduces adults and children to Dutch history in colonial America and Long Island. The exhibit consists of 26 two-dimensional panels grouped into three sections covering a variety of topics including ships and sailing, trade family life, agriculture, religion, indian relations and slavery.
