As advocates for historic preservation on Long Island , SPLIA is actively involved in extending a helping hand to those engaged in preserving our region’s landmarks. Through our periodical Preservation Notes, workshops on funding sources and other topics, public hearing appearances and stewardship of covenanced property and by acting as a resource for individuals, organizations, and local governments engaged in the preservation of our cultural resources, SPLIA seeks to make a future for Long Island’s past.
